Terms of Use

Last updated October 21, 2026

Club FM (maplefm.gg) is a free, fan-made price board for the MapleStory Classic Free Market. The prices on it are gathered by players who run our FM Watcher while they shop, and from public MapleStory Classic streams. By using the site you agree to these terms.

The short version
  1. Browse all you like, and quote a price anywhere with a link back to maplefm.gg.
  2. Scanners keep their own scans. Everything you record stays on your PC too, and you can export it any time.
  3. No bots, scrapers or AI systems pulling the price tables or data files without asking us first.
  4. Prices can be wrong. The screen reader makes mistakes, and the market moves. Check before a big trade.

1. Using the site

You may use the site in a browser, as a person, to look up prices for your own play, and share links to it. You may quote a small number of prices elsewhere with a visible credit and link to maplefm.gg.

2. What needs permission first

Without written permission from us, you may not:

  1. Collect the price tables or data files by automated means, such as scripts, crawlers, headless browsers or direct bulk requests to the data files.
  2. Copy, mirror, republish or resell the price data or sales records, or build another site, app, bot or dataset from them.
  3. Use the site or its data to train or feed a machine learning or AI system.
  4. Work around rate limits or blocks, or load the site in a way that slows it for others.

Normal search engine indexing and link previews are fine. If you want to build on the data, ask. We like projects and usually say yes.

3. Contributing scans

FM Watcher only reads what is on your screen. It never clicks, types or sends anything to the game, and it never touches the game's files. It sends item names, prices, quantities, the shop owner's in-game name as shown in the Free Market, the channel and room, and the time. No screenshots leave your computer. Your scans are credited to the name you choose in config.json, or shown as Guest. You can stop any time by closing the window, and you can ask us to remove your scans and your name from the ranks.

Scans you contribute become part of the site's price data under section 4. You keep a copy on your own PC and may do what you like with it.

4. Ownership and credits

The price data, sales records, their selection and arrangement, and the site's design and code belong to Club FM. These terms give you no rights in them beyond section 1.

MapleStory, its item names and artwork belong to NEXON. Club FM is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to NEXON in any way. Item icons and item pages come from maplestory.io. Equipment base stats come from MeowDB, used with permission. Everything else, including the scanner program, the ranks and the price logic, is ours.

5. No warranty

Prices are read off screens by automated tools and can be wrong, late or incomplete. The site is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. Do not rely on it for a trade you cannot afford to get wrong. To the extent the law allows, Club FM is not liable for any loss that comes from using the site.

6. Privacy

Browsing needs no account and the site sets no cookies of its own. Your choices, such as your watchlist, sell list, positions and theme, are kept in your own browser and never sent to us. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which keeps ordinary server logs. Seller names shown are in-game character names as anyone standing in the Free Market could see them. Streamers who would rather not be included can tell us through the Feedback button and their channel is skipped from then on.

Messages sent through the Feedback button go to a private inbox and are read by a person.

7. Donations

Club FM is free and will stay free. Donations through Ko-fi are gifts toward running costs. They buy nothing: no access, no data, no features, no advantage in the game.

8. Enforcement and changes

We may block or limit access for anyone who breaks these terms. These terms may change, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Questions or requests: use the Feedback button on the site.
